Volunteer opportunity
After six years in the role, Committee Secretary Nicola is standing down at next year’s AGM (or sooner if possible) to spend more time with her viola, so Committee is in need of a new Secretary. The job requires no more than attendance at meetings and taking a fairly basic minute of Committee decisions for approval at the following meeting and retaining them on file, so a total of 3 – 4 hours per month (except January). It could, however, entail more if you wish, for example hosting Friends events or participating in one of the Friends’ sub-committees. There’s a straightforward template for the minutes to make them look good. Holly will be happy to put you in touch with Nicola for further information.
