Volunteers are pivotal to the work of the Friends. Our Committee volunteer their time, and in support of them and the office staff we have our valued Volunteer Review Writers, our Christmas gift wrappers who are featured here, and those who work to promote memberships when the museum holds major exhibitions. Our Volunteers help us Front of House as ambassadors, and, when the Covid Protection Framework allows, behind the scenes with other important tasks.
Friends’ volunteers work as part of our team, enjoy each other’s company and are enthusiastic about their role. “Being a volunteer gives me the opportunity to be part of a great cause and meet interesting people at the same time”.
