Friends who have toured Egypt, or who dream of an Egyptian adventure, might be interested in a special inaugural Egyptian cultural afternoon, on Saturday 10 October from 2 – 5 pm.
Our Immediate Past President Elizabeth Kay, who led one of the Friends tours to Egypt in 2019, will give a brief talk during this event.
Hosted by Ambassador Dina el Sehy and the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Egyptian Community, Pharaohs in New Zealand, and the National Library of New Zealand, you are invited to enjoy three hours of music, dance, food and information, in the National Library Auditorium, Aitken Street. Entry is free.
