Come for a walk with us in the fresh Wellington air! Sharon from the Friends office will lead you on a small group guided tour (with social distancing in place) around the art, sculpture, heritage and history of the central city. Finish up with a gelato or tea of coffee at Gelissimo, with outdoor tables under cover just adjacent to Te Papa.
We will leave from Te Papa at 10am and walk for one and a half hours. You will get a guide leaflet to refer to and take home with links to the research and for further information.
Walking shoes, warm layers, water and a good level of fitness are required to fully enjoy these and ensure we keep a steady pace.
Parking and treat of your choice included. We will proceed unless the weather prevents safety and hearing, and if this occurs we will postpone until the following day, Thursday 14th at the same time.
