For many of us these long summer days are the perfect opportunity to sort through those cupboards and boxes, unearthing treasures you are not sure how to store or what to do with them. Textiles can be fragile and vulnerable to everything from insects to environmental conditions. We can help you with your textile treasures and heirlooms. Bring your item to Te Papa and discuss with a textile conservator how best to look after it. The limit is one item only.
