The white peony Duchesse de Nemours is a delicate flower, pure white, long 50mm+ stems, around 80mm fully open and one of the few peonies with a subtle fragrance. The flowers you will receive are buds that will open around three days from purchase and once the buds open, the flowers will last around seven days or more.
Conditions of purchase:
You must be able to collect your peonies between 11am and 1pm on Thursday 14 November. This collection time cannot be extended.
- Collection point is from the Staff Entrance at Te Papa.
(If you are quick and exit the car park within 15 minutes of entry, there is no parking charge).
- Payment is by cash or cheque on collection of peonies.
Thank you for your support – for each bunch purchased, $1.00 is a contribution to the Friend’s Acquisition Fund. Last year 670 bunches of coral and white peonies were sold. This year only the white peonies survived the recent gales, so this is the one opportunity to enjoy these lovely flowers.
