Together with the Wellington Council of Faiths we offer our Members a fascinating opportunity to visit the temples of Wellington’s principal faiths. This will be in a series of 3-5 visits. Our invitation from the Wellington Indian Association to visit them at their Gita Mandir temple in Kilbirnie is the first.
Each visit will include a short introduction to the key tenets of each faith. This will be a superb opportunity to learn more of the many faiths held by Wellingtonians.
The next two visits to the Sikh Temple in late May followed by a visit to the al Ameen Mosque in Newlands (this will be during Ramadan, in late July) will shortly be added to the Events programme.
