The imaging team works across all collection areas creating stunning images primarily for our Collections Online platform but also for Te Papa Press publications, digital labels within exhibitions, natural history research papers, exhibition documentation and more.

Join the Manager of Collection Imaging Michael O’Neill to see lots of beautiful images plus get an overview of the day to day workflow of a Te Papa photographer plus an insight into some of the more challenging objects we have worked with and the techniques we employ from macro photography to 3D scanning.
