Annual General Meeting 2018

The Annual General Meeting of the Friends of the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa Inc will be held Wednesday 27 June 2017 at 5.30pm in Te Huinga Centre, Level 3, Te Papa.

A glass of wine will be offered from 5pm and at 5.30pm Dale Bailey, Director Collections, Research and Learning will give an update on the exhibition programme and renewal, followed by formal business.

2. Confirmation of Minutes
   Minutes of the Annual General Meeting 20 June 2017.
   Minutes of the meetings will be available at the AGM and members will be given time to read them.
3. Financial Statements and Auditor’s Report for the year ended 31 March 2018.
4. Subscriptions
   To set the subscription rate for the year commencing 1 April 2019.
5. Election of Officers and Committee:
   Graeme Mitchell, Treasurer retired during the year. Nomination for Treasurer has been received for Tim Steel currently co-opted.President Elizabeth Kay and Vice-President Jillian Wellings retire by rotation and being eligible offer themselves for re-election.
   Committee member Kathleen Willis retires at this meeting.
   Committee members Jan Blayney, Diana Halsted and Ann Hodson retire by rotation and being eligible offer themselves for re-election.
   Elections are therefore required for two vacancies on the Committee.
   Nomination to the committee has been received for Elizabeth Ellis and Christine Turner, co-opted members last year.
6. To confirm the appointment of Accounting For Charities Trust as Auditor.
7. To confirm the appointment of Honorary Solicitor for the current year.
