In November this year Te Papa Press will publish a series of three board books on New Zealand art for very young readers.
Te Papa Press are currently developing the final image selection and design for the books, and would love feedback from the Friends of Te Papa on what you think the children in your life would enjoy and respond to.
Designed for the very young and up to three years, the books are themed around letters, numbers and colours, allowing grandparents, parents and teachers to read the books with children in a myriad of different ways – focusing on the artworks, practising counting, letters or colour recognition, or simply enjoying the quirky combinations of language and image.
Te Papa Press have been seeking feedback from a variety of people and would now like to focus on the grandparents.
Registration required – numbers limited. To book your place, send us an email using the ‘Book now’ button, or phone the office on (04) 381-7051.
