Join us on this special opportunity to visit Piera McArthur’s studio, hear first-hand the story of her entry into the world of art, and see a collection of her recent art prior to it being sent to Auckland for an exhibition.
Piera McArthur is one of New Zealand’s foremost contemporary artists, her work is known for its ‘Joie-de-Vivre’ and for its optimistic energy. Piera’s works are held in many private and public collections throughout New Zealand and internationally. She lived and worked for many years in Paris and later while painting in Moscow became the first New Zealander to have a one person show at the New Tretiakov Gallery eliciting a glowing review in Pravda.
Following our studio visit, those who wish will be able to have coffee at one of the cafes in Molesworth Street, a short drive or walk from Park Street.
