Many Friends travel widely to explore areas of historical interest and to enjoy built heritage sites. Our own Wellington neighbourhood has a variety of sites that present a full range of architectural interest and styles. Join Historic Places Wellington Chairperson Felicity Wong as she talks to us about some of her favorite local heritage places. Many of them were featured in images that Historic Places Wellington recently projected onto the Oriana Apartment building in Oriental Bay during the Wellington Heritage Festival in October 2023. These places enrich our lives and many will be well known to you – following this talk Felicity hopes you can visit them and look with renewed appreciation for our heritage sites.
