After we have visited her studio, Lynne Sandri will welcome us into her own home which she describes as a portal into her creative mind. Themes of time, home and idealism have engaged Lynne for the last twenty years and these are richly expressed in her paintings and light boxes.

‘Alpine Rock Pots 2’ by Bruce Luxford. This 3-piece series reflects the artist’s nod to the tenacity and adaptability of flora in sub-alpine environments. Contains reference to the ‘domestication’ of such plants in urban rock gardens.

At Bruce Luxford’s studio we will see that his landscapes are about more than the lakes, coastal and rural scenes that first catch the eye. He is also commenting on the impact on these landscapes of nearby urban centres with their affluence and imposing man-made structures.
