THIS EVENT IS NOW FULLY BOOKED

Join us on an early evening tour of Parliament to view its stunning art and fine interiors.

In 90 minutes we will see work by some of New Zealand’s most significant artists including Colin McCahon, Frances Hodgkins, Ralph Hotere, Melvin Day, Cliff Whiting, Susan Skerman, Para Matchett, Fatu Feu’u and Robyn Kahukiwa. A highlight will be a viewing of work by John Drawbridge and his family in Parliament’s exhibition space located in Bowen House.

We will also walk into the fine interiors of several themed rooms and see a diverse mix of art and objects from the Parliamentary Collection.

The evening will commence with a drink at Parliament’s own Pickwick’s Bar.  After this our bags, phones and cameras will be checked in by Security and the tour will begin.  (All visitors to Parliament have to come through the Parliamentary Service security screening process.)

NB: Comfortable shoes are advisable as we will be visiting several buildings and using stairs. There is no seating provided.

Members and non-members $20.00 (includes a glass of wine or juice)
