Political economist Robert Wade will discuss rising inequality in the Western world, placing New Zealand in the context of international debates. Dame Claudia Orange will chair the evening event.
Professor Wade
Professor Wade is a contributor to Inequality: A New Zealand Crisis (Bridget Williams Books, 2013). He was awarded, with José Antonio Ocampo, the 2008 Leontief Prize by the Global Development and Environment Institute. The prize recognised ‘his outstanding contribution to economic theory that addressed realities and supported just and sustainable societies’.
