Be the first to see Bug Lab, a new exhibition opening to the public on Saturday 10 December.
Celebrate the genius of bugs. Te Papa and Weta Workshop have joined forces to bring a newly-created science exhibition to Te Papa. Te Papa Chief Executive Rick Ellis said the exhibition would be like no other.
“For 450 million years, bugs have been getting smarter. From brain surgery to teamwork to the power of flight – they really can do it all,” says Weta Workshop’s Richard Taylor.
The preview is members only and you will be asked to show your current membership card for free entry.
If you wish to bring a non-member, they can join at the exhibition and attend the preview.
Come anytime during the preview hours of 4pm – 6pm on Thursday 8 December. No need to register to attend.
Please note there will be a photographer at the preview, capturing images for use through Te Papa’s channels including media.
